A few years ago we rebuilt the attic of our 1930s semi. It had been accessed through a hatch by loft ladder from the landing, there was enough room to stand up in it but we guessed that it could be extended.
Up Another Level were so helpful and easy to deal with. They produced all the necessary plans. Nothing we suggested was too difficult for them, though sometimes they advised us in another direction.
There was plenty of space for a proper staircase, the woodwork copying the house original one. We decided against an ensuite and are very glad that we have a shower room and WC with plenty of space accessed at the top of the stairs. This enables it to be used by the rest of the household.
We are so pleased with the result. Up Another Level gave us a spacious double bedroom with a walk-in cupboard and low wall access into the roof space.
We had fitted wardrobes made along one wall. We chose a full length window which enables a good view of the back gardens.
UAL could not have been better builders making very little disruption to the house in the process and they were lovely friendly, helpful people.
