Having taken the decision to have our loft converted, we contacted several loft conversion specialist contractors, including some notable national firms, and received largely indifferent feedback assistance and communication.
We then decided to contact a local firm and from the first conversation with Andrea at UpAnotherLevel, it was apparent that they would only not provide the highest level of service, but that they had intimate knowledge of conversions and were able to offer practical and professional advice.
This expertise and level of service carried on throughout the whole process of the conversion, from initial inspection and quotation, to erecting scaffolding and finally to the actual conversion itself was of the highest quality.
The team, lead by James and Wayne, were excellent throughout. They made themselves available for questions and explained the process and made recommendations as the build went along. They were also on hand afterwards to resolve any minor issues and the office were always there to answer any administrative problems.
Being a local firm, there was a real sense of ownership and pride in their work in the knowledge that reputation is everything.
Indeed, we also asked them to do several other bits of work to our property and they were always willing to help, nothing seemed too much, including coming out on a weekend to secure the roof cover which had been blown slightly away.
Every tradesmen that worked on the project, I would re-employ if I needed their particular trade again, all were courteous and couldn’t do enough.
Quality and delivery of service is quite a rare thing in the building trade, too often people promise a lot and deliver very little – nothing could be further from this as far as UpAnotherLevel are concerned.
Since the work has been completed we have had numerous requests for their number and anyone we speak to in our road (where several conversions have taken place) comments that ours is easily the most aesthetically pleasing and professional looking.
I would recommend the firm to anyone looking to get their loft converted. You will not be disappointed.
